Medication |

| We are happy to support children who need regular prescribed treatment and ask that you provide appropriate medication to be left in school at all times (inhalers etc). We cannot administer prescribed medicines that need to be taken three times a day as they can be given at home. Parents need to complete a medicine consent form should it be necessary to administer medicines at lunchtime. The school will maintain a
'treatment file' to record any medicines administered. |

| If your child becomes ill at school, we will contact a parent or carer. It is important that information regarding emergency contacts is kept up to date for this reason. Parents of children who have a head injury will be informed promptly to ensure parents are aware of the potential hazards. All lunchtime staff have a recent first aid qualification. Sharon Legg/Tracey Manning are our registered First Aiders in school and should be contacted with any enquiries in the first instance. |
