Admission Arrangements for 2023/24

CHRIST THE SOWER ECUMENICAL SCHOOL is part of the Oxford Diocesan Bucks Schools Trust, who are the admissions authority for the school. The Board of Trustees have delegated the admissions authority operation to the Local Governing Body of the school.

Parents are encouraged to contact us to arrange a visit to the school.  If you wish to apply for a place for your child in the Reception Class to Year 6 please contact Milton Keynes Admissions Authority who manage our admissions on our behalf by using the following link:

The Deadline for applications was 15 January 2023.

Allocations will be notified to applicants on Monday 17 April 2023.

Timeline for Admission Appeals for Year R – September 2023

Following national offer day of Monday, 17th April 2023 if you named Christ the Sower Ecumenical Primary School as one of your preferences and were unsuccessful, you have a right to appeal against the decision to an independent appeal panel. 

The appeals timetable* for Christ the Sower for students starting in Year R in September 2023 is shown below.  Stage 1 hearing and Stage 2 individual hearings will be held virtually, with meeting invites issued by the Clerk to the Independent Appeal Panel nearer the time.

Tuesday, 23rd May 2023 at 3pm

Week Commencing 19th June 2023

 

Appeal hearings will be held during this week.

Appellants will be advised as to precise day and time by the clerk.

Should you wish to appeal against the decision not to offer your child a place at Christ the Sower, please email school@cts.odbst.org   providing the name of the child, their date of birth and an email address where the appeal paperwork can be sent.  Requests for appeal packs must be made by 3pm on Friday, 19th May 2023. 

*Please note it may not be possible to include within this timetable any appeals that are lodged after the deadline.

**This is the deadline by which the completed appeal form must be received by the Clerk to the Independent Appeal Panel.
