By the end of this week, we will have accessed resources to write an instructional text.
Today, you will be thinking about varying sentence openers through using fronted adverbials and/ or subordinate clauses. Click here to access the video and lesson information.
We are going to continue to follow the activities provided by White Rose. Remember, you need to watch the video on their website and download the resources from the links below. Today, you need to complete Summer Term Week 5 Lesson 4 (Decimals as fractions).
Watch the video by clicking here to visit the Year 6 area of their website and then answer the questions by clicking here to download the worksheet. Don’t worry if you can’t print it, just write the answers in your home learning book.
You can check your answers here.
You can also have a look at the resources on the BBC Bitesize website here. They link with the White Rose activity each day.
This week we are going to be focusing on art and combining some different skills to add texture.
Today we would like you to begin a reflective piece of artwork, thinking about your time over the last few weeks. This could be a landscape of what you can see outside or during a walk. It might be a use of colour or shapes to create something more abstract to consider different feelings you have had. It might be a cartoon style piece of work showing activities or changes. It is really up to you!
Create a plan and think about how you can include work from the lessons from this week to include texture or depth effectively.
You do not have to completely finish this today as your topic work for tomorrow will be to finish your work off and send us a picture, if you can, to be included in the online gallery.
