Today we are going to have another look at adverbs to ensure you are confident and can include them in your writing to ensure it is cohesive.
Click here to remind yourself about adverbs. They not only provide cohesion to your writing, they also add detail and build tension. Complete the tasks on the presentation.
Remember, adverbs add detail to a verb. They do not always have an –ly suffix. For example fast, hard, then and here.
Complete the tasks on this ‘Adverbs’ sheet to identify adverbs, select adverbs and use them in your writing. Think carefully about the placement of the adverbs and their impact and the punctuation that might be needed.
We are going to continue to follow the activities provided by White Rose. Remember, you need to watch the video on their website and download the resources from the links below. Today, you need to complete Summer Term Week 9 Lesson 2 (Area of a triangle).
